This document was written for a family reunion held at Berta Brewer’s house in Texarkana, Arkansas, and was part of several documents included in a booklet for each of the twelve children of Alma and William Brewer. This reunion was the only time that Alma Brewer ever saw all of her children together–Willie Brewer never saw all his children together. This is because the youngest, Kenny was born some five years after the eldest, Bobby, was married and moved to California.
